FundedNext review

FundedNext names four companies across four jurisdictions in its own terms. Trading is executed solely by FundedNext Ltd, registered in the Comoros Islands. The Hong Kong and UAE entities run the website and the offices; the Comoros company is the one your trades go through.

FundedNext is one of the larger prop firms by search interest, and its corporate disclosure is unusually detailed. Four companies are named, in four countries, and the firm is specific about which one does what.

That specificity is worth reading closely, because only one of them is on the other side of your trades.

Who is who

From the firm’s own terms and site disclosures:

Trading activities on this platform are executed solely by FundedNext Ltd. FundedNext Ltd is a company registered in accordance with the laws of Comoros Islands, with registration number HY01023052, and has its registered office at Bonovo Road, Fomboni, Island of Moheli, Comoros.

Alongside that:

Hong Kong Ajman, UAE Comoros Islands FundedNext Limited reg. 28831 FundedNext Ltd · HY01023052 operates the website offices executes all trading your evaluation and your payout All entities and numbers quoted from the firm's own disclosures. Two of the three are not your counterparty.
A Hong Kong address and a UAE office are what you see. A Comoros company is what you trade against.

Why the Comoros line is the one that counts

Naming an operating company in Hong Kong and an office in Ajman gives a firm two respectable-sounding addresses. Neither is where your account lives.

Moheli, in the Comoros, is the cheapest place in the world to obtain a brokerage authorisation. It is a jurisdiction of choice for firms that want the word “registered” without the cost of supervision, and it carries no compensation scheme, no meaningful capital test, and no practical route for a foreign client to enforce anything.

FundedNext is not hiding this. It is written in the terms, in plain language, and the firm is more forthcoming than most of the sector. What we are pointing at is the gap between what the branding suggests and what the sentence says.

What a prop firm’s registration does and does not mean

None of the four entities holds a financial services licence that we can find, and for this business model that is normal rather than damning. A prop firm sells an evaluation and funds a simulated account; it is not taking client deposits to trade a live market on your behalf, so most regulators do not require it to be licensed at all.

The consequence is the same regardless. Your evaluation fee is a purchase from a company, and your payout is a contractual claim against that company. Neither is protected. Which company it is decides how realistic enforcement would be, and here the answer is a registry in Moheli.

Absence is expected here and is not a finding. We publish the checks because the question people ask is whether a supervisor stands behind the payout, and the answer is no.

What we checked, and what we didn’t

We read the firm’s published terms and corporate disclosures and searched three registers we hold locally. We have not bought an evaluation, traded one, or requested a payout, and nothing here reports on how FundedNext handles any of that.

The questions worth asking before buying an evaluation are the ones the paperwork already answers. Which entity is named on the agreement you accept at checkout? If a payout is refused, which company are you in dispute with, and where is it registered? Our writeup on prop firm challenges covers the mechanics that produce most of those disputes.
