Firms that stopped operating
Brokers and prop firms that have closed, rebranded or handed their domain to someone else — with the date, the notice and what to do if you still have a balance.
The fastest way to lose money with a trading firm is not a bad trade. It is a company that stops answering. Every page below documents a firm that closed, merged or quietly redirected its domain elsewhere, with the date it happened and the contact route that still works, if any.
None of these companies appears in a register we can verify. That is the pattern worth taking away before you deposit anywhere: a supervised failure has an administrator and a deadline, an unsupervised one has a paragraph on a homepage.
EagleFX
EagleFX moved its client accounts to LHFX in March 2025. The domain later stopped pointing at LHFX and now forwards to a Hugo's Way signup page carrying EagleFX affiliate tracking.

The futures arm of FundingPips, live for about a year. It wound down on 19 January 2026 with full refunds for every active account, including losing ones, which is far better than the sector norm. It closed a month after a retroactive rule change invalidated trades traders had already made. The parent firm is still trading and has left futures entirely.

Regulator registers first: ASIC publishes a full dataset of licensees, CySEC lists every Cypriot investment firm together with the domains it is approved to operate from. Then the company's own legal documents, then the Internet Archive to see what the site said before it said what it says now. Where a check cannot be completed, the page states that rather than implying a clean result. See themethodology.
