Quantower pricing: three of the six add-ons cost more than the entire platform
One licence at $70 a month, or pay per feature. The published add-on prices mean any trader wanting three of them is already better off buying everything, and the bundle sold as a saving is the worst value on the page.
Quantower sells its platform two ways: one licence covering everything, or individual features bought à la carte. Both price lists are published, and putting them side by side answers the choice arithmetically rather than by preference.
The full licence
| Period | Total | Per month | Discount |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 month | $70 | $70.00 | none |
| 3 months | $189 | $63.00 | 10% |
| 6 months | $336 | $56.00 | 20% |
| 1 year | $588 | $49.00 | 30% |
| Lifetime | $1,690 | n/a | n/a |
The ladder is exactly 10, 20 and 30 per cent, applied to the undiscounted total each time. That is worth a sentence because it is unusual. At ATAS the annual discount runs 20% on the cheap tier and 44.5% on the dear one, and at TradingView it climbs from 13.4% to 16.7% with the tier. Both vendors discount hardest where you spend most. Quantower charges everyone the same percentage for the same commitment.
There is also a free version with no registration, and a 7-day full trial for anyone who registers an account.
Where the pricing gets interesting
Six features are sold separately, so you can run the free platform and pay only for what you use. Monthly rates, from the same page:
| Add-on | 1 month | 1 year | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
| TPO Profile Chart | $20 | $168 | $490 |
| Power Trades | $25 | $210 | $490 |
| DOM Surface | $30 | $252 | $650 |
| Advanced Features | $30 | $252 | $650 |
| Volume Analysis | $35 | $294 | $720 |
| Option Trading | $50 | $420 | $690 |
Now add them up against the $70 licence that contains all of them:
| Buying the cheapest… | Monthly cost | Against All-in-One at $70 |
|---|---|---|
| one add-on | $20 | cheaper |
| two add-ons | $45 | cheaper |
| three add-ons | $75 | already more expensive |
| four add-ons | $105 | 50% more expensive |
| all six | $190 | 171% more expensive |
Three features is the crossover, and it holds even if you pick the three cheapest ones. Anyone who wants volume analysis, a heatmap and Renko charts is paying $95 a month for three-sixths of a platform that costs $70 entire.
The bundle that costs more than it saves
Two packages sit alongside the individual features. Multi-asset combines Volume Analysis and Advanced Features for $50 a month against $65 bought separately, and Crypto is the same pair restricted to crypto connections at $40.
On monthly billing the Multi-asset package works: $50 beats $65. The lifetime price is another matter.
| Lifetime | Share of the full licence | |
|---|---|---|
| Multi-asset (2 feature packs) | $1,290 | 76% |
| Crypto (2 packs, crypto only) | $990 | 59% |
| All-in-One (everything) | $1,690 | 100% |
Paying $1,290 forever for two of six feature packs, when $1,690 buys all of them plus every connection, is the worst-value line on the page. The gap is $400 once, against a permanent restriction. We can see no reading of those two numbers where the smaller one is the better purchase.
When the lifetime licences repay
A lifetime licence is a bet on still using the software in a few years. Against the annual rate, which is what a committed user would otherwise pay:
| Licence | Lifetime | Annual | Repays in |
|---|---|---|---|
| Option Trading | $690 | $420 | 1.64 years |
| Power Trades | $490 | $210 | 2.33 years |
| Volume Analysis | $720 | $294 | 2.45 years |
| All-in-One | $1,690 | $588 | 2.87 years |
| TPO Profile Chart | $490 | $168 | 2.92 years |
| Multi-asset | $1,290 | $420 | 3.07 years |
Under three years for the full licence is quicker than the same bet at ATAS, where the lifetime tiers take 3.3 to 4.2 years against their annual rates. Whether that is a good bet depends on a question no price list answers: whether this platform is still the one you want in 2029.
Note where Multi-asset lands. It repays slowest of everything listed and buys least.
What the licence does not cover
Market data. Quantower states it plainly, twice on the page: third-party market data is not included in any licence and must be bought separately. For futures that means exchange fees set by the exchange, at rates that depend on whether you are classified professional. The same line item runs through Sierra Chart, NinjaTrader and every platform we have priced.
Commission. Orders route through a broker, and that broker’s per-contract rate is separate again. On futures it is usually the largest of the three numbers at any real volume; the arithmetic is in NinjaTrader’s fees, where a $99 monthly plan needs 165 standard round turns before it pays for itself.
So the software line is one of three, and here it is frequently the smallest.
Terms worth knowing before you buy
Refunds run 10 calendar days from payment, on initial orders only, and lifetime licences are excluded from refunds entirely. That is a real asymmetry: the largest purchase on the page is the one you cannot undo.
Nothing renews automatically. Quantower says it will tell you when a period ends, and the purchase is yours to repeat or not. For anyone who has spent a year discovering an unused subscription on a card statement, that is worth more than a percentage point of discount.
Payment is by Visa or Mastercard through the site, or in cryptocurrency through CoinPayments. Licences attach to a Quantower ID rather than to a machine, and the vendor warns that a purchase can take up to 24 hours to appear on the account even though it usually lands at once. Budget for that if you are buying on a Friday evening because you want the feature on Monday.
How to decide without guessing
Run the free version until it stops you. The limits announce themselves when you reach a paid function, which is a cheaper way to learn what you need than reading a feature list.
Count the features you actually hit. One or two, buy them. Three, buy the platform. That is the whole decision and it does not depend on how you trade.
Ignore Multi-asset at lifetime. At $1,290 against $1,690 for everything, the saving is not worth the ceiling.
Price the data and the commission before the licence, because for an active futures trader they are larger, and the choice between $49 and $70 a month is not the decision you thought you were making.
What we checked, and what we didn’t
Every figure above was read from Quantower’s own pricing page on 28 August 2026, including the per-period prices behind each billing selector. The percentages, the crossover point and the payback periods are our arithmetic on those published numbers.
We have not installed Quantower, traded through it, or tested any feature. We have not verified what market data or commission would cost through any particular broker, because those belong to the exchange and the broker rather than to this vendor. Prices are shown in US dollars on the vendor’s page.
